According to WWD, Keira Knightley is posing for the front cover of Vogue's September 2008 issue. To everyone who still takes Vogue seriously, this is still inconsequential. She will be shot by Mario Testino, which gives the operation an internesting spin. Boring publication, boring actress, phenomenal photographer. Despite abysmal stand-sales in June, Wintour okay'ed Miss Knight[en]jaw for the magazine's most anticipated issue. I attribute this poor judgement to Keke's generously protruding collarbones. More cost effieicent, as it requires less airbrushing.
Goddamnit Anna. We both know this September is Naomi's, you frickin' Nazi.
Tim is awaiting The Duchess, so perhaps he should've posted this oh-so-riveting news.
Elle, a publication we've watched rapidly sink farther into a heaping pile of rubbish, will feature Jessica Simpson. CASE. IN. POINT.
Rather disappointingly, W chose Kate Hudson. I don't have anything against Kate; she is just bland, overused, and a little dried up (a la Aniston). She won't give up that just-surfed-mondo-waves-check-out-my-wavy-don't-care-hair-and-bronze-skin look.
Other covers reveleaed are as follows:
Glamour, Penelope Cruz (a favourite of mine)
Allure, Carrie Underwood (snore)
InStyle (snore), Uma Thurman (apathetic)
GQ, James Franco (mmm)
Cosmopolitan, Blake Lively (great marketing scheme, but eh)
Teen Vogue, Vanessa Hudgens (ie: who the fuck cares about this broad)
