The problem with a lot of Gossip Girl outfits is that they seem forced, exaggeratedly trendy. Chuck Bass in particular, with his loud suits and flared collars, is two steps below the suave, city sexy exemplified by Ryan Philippe in Cruel Intentions.I think Ed Westwick dresses far better than his artful alter-ego. Here he is at Lollapalooza in black Levi’s, a white shirt and Gucci loafers. Clean and casual.
